McMaster CSMM Alum Wins Apple’s ‘Best Fictional Podcast of 2019’ Multimedia class project propels the Boda brothers into podcast stardom David Boda, a 2019 Communication and Multimedia honours graduate, along with his brother Stephen Boda, accompanist for the McMaster choir, earned the title of ‘Best Fictional Podcast of 2019’ by Apple Podcast Canada.
Dr. David Harris Smith and a team of co-investigators led by principal investigators Dr. Mary Ellen Foster (Glasgow University) and Dr. Samina Ali (University of Alberta) will explore the use of AI social robots to improve children’s health care experiences thanks to funding from the Canada-UK AI Initiative.
Professor Chris Myhr’s “Fathoms: The Weight of Smoke” was recently awarded Best Experimental Short at the Toronto Independent Film Festival. The film features layered imagery of the camera moving through clouds of underwater sediment hovering above the seafloor off the coast of Nova Scotia.
