ICA President-Elect Gardner discusses “Listening as a Method” in ICA newsletter
Paula Gardner, Asper Chair in Communications and President-Elect of the International Communication Association (ICA), discusses “Listening as a Method” in the current issue of the ICA newsletter. She comments that “Pausing offers the opportunity to consider where we stand, and how we are listening. […] I am thinking hard about the crucial method of listening and how it might productively, and radically, alter our usual practices.” The newsletter comes in advance of the ICA’s 2017 annual conference in San Diego.
